What does this have to do with the topic of the thread - which is the suspicion that obama is bribing an undeclared obamacare vote with the appointment of his brother to the court.

I know its hard, but try to stay on topic.

And YOU have not proven that President Obama is *selling* judgeships or that he is *bribing* anyone to do anything. You're just gossip mongering.

But never on this scale, not while trying trying to pass a nation changing partisan bill like 0bamaCare.

Let's see,....the judge MAY be recommended by a member of the legislature,...OR by the president himself OR the party. This nomination and the senate confirmation are in essense a sure thing since both procedures are controlled by the same party.

Does it not seem a little peculiar that the nomination was made DURING the time that Obama was courting the brother of the nominee to vote a particular way on pending legislation that was previously opposed by the congressman?

Coincidence? Maybe,...but doubtful.

I am completely on topic. You're gossip mongering about a *suspicion* that Obama is *bribing* someone to do something by NOMINATING that person's brother for a federal judgeship, and I'm saying that Obama CANNOT ASSURE that the brother will be confirmed. Are there not any Republicans in the U.S. Senate? A quick look at the process for the appointment of a federal judge destroys your gossip *suspicions*.............Is THAT all you have? SUSPICION? LOL LOL Try to learn a little bit about your own thread topic.

You of course exclude the backroom payoffs by Bush Repubs to get other Repubs to sign on to the Medicare Advantage program in 2003. But that was of a minor to Medicare funds, right? Take your blinders off, please.

Key words: MAY be recommended. So the Republicans in the Senate have never stopped any fed judge nomiations?? Silly, silly person. Bottom line is that in reality Obama CANNOT promise and federal judgeship to anyone. All he can do is nominate someone for that position. The nominee HAS TO BE CONFIRMED by the U.S. Senate. There are Republicans in the U.S. Senate last time I looked. YOU GUYS are talking about *suspicsions* and *conjecture*......you have no evidence whatsoever that Obama is *bribing* anybody to do anything. There's no HARD EVIDENCE, especially since the President CANNOT GUARANTEE CONFIRMATION by the Senate. Don't you all ever get tired of slinging crap? *Seems a little peculiar* and *maybe,....but doubtful* just doesn't carry any weight except when you're just gossiping.
