When leftists come across people with differing views, right wingers for example, they subconsciously assume that everyone else bases their beliefs on emotions as well. Because it is incomprehensible to them that others base their beliefs on logic and rationality, they automatically attribute those different beliefs with hatred and other negative emotions. This is why leftists and right wingers are unable to come to terms with one another, their brains work differently. This is also why leftists don't want to talk about costs and other realities, they want to stay focused on the positive emotional reinforcement regarding any political issue.
Well positive emotions sell well in order to get reelected. I've been called leftist but I see my self as a rightist that has seen the light. More that their needs to be focus on what works and what doesn't. Money first second and third doesn't work that well. It can set up a situation that can lead to a French revolution. Not good. So a bit of balance is in order. A bit of taking care of those less fortunate than your selves is French revolution insurance. It works. Going overboard on the taking care of those less fortunate doesn't work either. I takes balance. It takes the middle. That is where I'm at. I don't care left or right I care about what works and what doesn't
