I was thinking about how there could be such a huge rift between people and how they could come up with opposing answers to every problem. Here's what I've discovered through much experience. Leftists base their beliefs on emotion, espousing love, compassion and empathy. When leftists come across people with differing views, right wingers for example, they subconsciously assume that everyone else bases their beliefs on emotions as well. Because it is incomprehensible to them that others base their beliefs on logic and rationality, they automatically attribute those different beliefs with hatred and other negative emotions. This is why leftists and right wingers are unable to come to terms with one another, their brains work differently. This is also why leftists don't want to talk about costs and other realities, they want to stay focused on the positive emotional reinforcement regarding any political issue.
Left wingers hate America and freedom, love welfare, love abortions, love pornography, don't believe in God, love Communism and Socialism, love terrorists, don't believe in morals, support the "let everyone do what they want to do" philosophy, love dictators, love Muslims, hate Christians, want government control
Right wingers love America, freedom, God, the military, and everything that is pure.
That is the difference

In comparison I've witnessed much hateful name-calling, ridiculing, racism (both reverses and "race-baiting") and support of legalized theft in the name of the "greater good", and destuction of Constitutional liberty espoused by the so called "leftists".

As if "others" (besides leftists) are basing their views on "logic and rationality" but that "leftists" are not capable of that.

But, JoeyPants, you most certainly forgot to include that right wingers hold a hell of a lot of deep heart felt hatred against homosexuals because they are so grossly offended by their sex acts.

Sure you have. Especially the ones that supported a bogus war which took lives unnecessarily and are enraged that all Americans might have access to affordable health insurance. What a sympathetic lot.
BTW...just reminded from another post on this thread. The right wingers have such compassion for the rights of gay people.
