I think anybody should be allowed to get a copy of Obama's birth certificate, for the cost of producing it plus tax. That way, the people of Hawaii won't be the ones paying for this nonsense.

Yep.

This is how conspiracy theorists operate.

If they are shown proof, rather than accept it, they immediately make the conspiracy larger.

"Oh my God! They got to YOU TOO!"

Would you want anyone to have a copy of your birth certificate? One has to have a good reason. The article states that the law in HI is clear, they can't just give it to anyone who wants it.

Incredibly stupid people!

why did'nt you buffoons ask for this BEFORE he ran for president, why not while he was senator?

He is the President Get over It!

they did not make this much of a fuss when Bush's military records were discovered to be "questionable" and come to think of it people lost their jobs for bringing it up.

I think people should be losing their jobs, or something, when going on the birther rant these days too. I'm sure whoever is on the list of birthers has other things in their background to make them more suspicious than their birther affiliation.

Good. The state is wasting time and money responding to these people.
Hmmmm Alaska anyone? Accusation central costing the state a ton of money because of the Liberal left.
They should just deal with it or release the info that would stop it

Even if you are born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent (mother or father), you can claim U.S. citizenship. Obama's mother is a U.S. citizen, so he is automatically a U.S. citizen regardless of where he was born.

Why is something so obvious so easily overlooked?
