IMO this is nothing short of illegal search and seizure. Period!

So ironically in an effort to protect a person, the cops effectively destroyed the person's life. And over growing natural "God-given" seeds. What a ludicrous law.

I agree, illegal search and seizure. (if not illegal then at least immoral and anti-human rights)

This is just getting out of hand.

Add to the man that was naked in his house making coffee and went to jail.

This opens the door for cops to just say we heard a scream we can now come into your house. No probable cause no civil rights.

Say hello bigger gov

Not sure if it is right to search based on this situation though.

Only during quiet hours... around here that's 10pm.

Agreed. And 10 years for growing natural plants? That's insane. What harm are marijuana users doing that deserve such a harsh punishment?

I'm sure you don't see the logic in the sentencing, but others do.

They will be reporting here shortly.

Even if by their ab-sense.

Oh, goodie, I get to be a law and order conservative!

Excuse me if I differ. The only person who destroyed a life was the resident who chose to grow illegal plants in his home. Had the girlfriend been covering for, let's say a child murder/kidnapping, we would all be screaming for the said police officers' badges, guns, pensions, and scalps had they just taken her word that the screams were the product of amorous exertion and not the cries of a injured child.

(ok the child thing is a bit of pandering, so substitute any person of your choice, home owner, parents, third but non-cooperating sexual partner)
