But my actual rebuttle is, when asked about individual parts of the law, people overwhelmingly support it.
Just that the jerk off Reps, Fake News and Palins did a cracker jack jobs of misleading the general public.
First off, you cannot secion out the parts you like. you have to accept the bill as a whole, or deny it as a whole. The idea is to pass legislation because a bill in it's entirety is a good idea, not that we have 900 pages of feces and 10 pages that do some good.
Lastly, it doesn't take anyone to do a cracker jack job of anything, there are so many provisions in the bill that are bad for the American people it does it all by itself. It allows the Federal Government (IRS) Direct access to your bank accounts, so that if the group of people it requires to buy health insurance do not purchase it, the fines can be directly accessed from your accounts. No if and or buts, no chance to even SHOW that you have obeyd the unconstitutional requirement that you purchase good and/or services. (BTW, that's what started the who tea party thing back in Boston Harbour and the revolutionary war).
From 1980 to 2008 the deficit went from about 1 Trillion dollars to a bit over 10 trillion...
The Democrats added about 1.3 Trillion of it and the Republicans added the remanding 9-10 Trillion or so.
Republicans should not complain about the deficit.
On Inauguration Day, the Debt stood at $10.626 trillion.
George W. Bush ran up the deficit $4.9 -trillion over eight years.
Obama as managed to up that over 1.3 trillion dollars in 1 year and 3 months. That will equal 4.16 trillion dollars in 4 yrs. That doesn't include the Health Care bill and what it's gonna do.

From 2000-2006 we had a Republican President (Bush) Republican Senate, and Republican House. Republicans controlled the Executive Branch, Supreme Court, and both houses of Congress. Republicans had controlled the House since 1996.
From 2006-2008, Republicans still had the President and Senate.
From 1996-2006 we had Republicans in Control of the House.
From 1996-2008 we had Republican control of the Senate.
From 1996-2006 Republicans controlled The Congress, Senate and House..... That is the last 4 years of Clinton's Presidency (1992-2000) and for too many years with Bush as President. (2000-2006).

In the 2006 elections, Democrats won both the House of Representatives (233 Democrats, 202 Republicans) and the Senate (49 Democrats, 49 Republicans, and 2 Independents caucusing with the Democrats)

Among the most onorous violations of the President’s promise are taxes related to the individual mandate to purchase a medical care insurance policy, the requirement that nearly every employer provide health insurance options to their employees. This piece of garbage, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, has a section of the bill entitled “Shared Responsibility for Employers” (Section 1513) sets out the mandates placed on the nation’s employers.
FACT: Employers with more than 200 employees must immediately provide every one of their employees with a health insurance policy. The employee reserves the right to opt-out of the plan offered by his or her employer.
FACT: Employers with 50 or more full-time workers, but less than 200, that do not offer health insurance coverage will pay an assessment of $2,000 per full-time worker (not including the first 30 workers) if any of their employees obtains premium tax credits through the newly created government funded health care insurance exchange. Employers that offer unaffordable coverage or coverage that does not cover at least 60 percent of allowable costs will pay $3,000 for any employee that receives a tax credit in the Exchange up to a cap of $2,000 for every full-time employee.

In about the time it took me to read that section of this junk bill I realized that if I'm such an employer it makes great sense to lay-off part of my workforce and add their load to the remainder OR pay the remainder overtime. Option number three would be to reorganize the work shifts so that almost all the workforce comes in as "part-time" workers. No insurance needed. Voila!

Soon the goooberment will be paying out two full years of continuous unemployment benefits and will have subliminally and very subtlely, with no real intent to do so, inculcated an attitude of "Hey why should I work ever again?' A new sub-class of ex-worker is created to become another parasite on the backs of the remaining workforce. Under this law, Americans cannot purchase over-the-counter medicines with pre-tax dollars drawn from health savings accounts (HAS), flexible spending accounts (FSA), or health reimbursement accounts (HRA). They're all so noted in this piece of crap. As of 2011, funds from these accounts can only be used to purchase medicine prescribed by a physician approved under the auspices of the exchange or other qualifying plan. That means if you have a real serious condition and want to go the fee-for-service outside the system route you can't use YOUR OWN SAVINGS monies as noted to pay for those prescriptions.
So where has your freedom of choice gone?

The new IRS mandate with ObamaCare is to enforce penalties and collections making Americans buy health insurance. If you're due a refund or some other federal benefit, and you didn't obtain qualified insurance, your refund or benefit will be tapped for your fee.
The IRS is not a bill collector, insurance is not a tax and the IRS lacks the authority to enforce the collection of insurance premiums but the mandate effectively creates a back door tax for government run healthcare.
