First off, you cannot secion out the parts you like. you have to accept the bill as a whole, or deny it as a whole. The idea is to pass legislation because a bill in it's entirety is a good idea, not that we have 900 pages of feces and 10 pages that do some good.

Lastly, it doesn't take anyone to do a cracker jack job of anything, there are so many provisions in the bill that are bad for the American people it does it all by itself. It allows the Federal Government (IRS) Direct access to your bank accounts, so that if the group of people it requires to buy health insurance do not purchase it, the fines can be directly accessed from your accounts. No if and or buts, no chance to even SHOW that you have obeyd the unconstitutional requirement that you purchase good and/or services. (BTW, that's what started the who tea party thing back in Boston Harbour and the revolutionary war).

Republicans should not complain about the deficit.
On Inauguration Day, the Debt stood at $10.626 trillion.
George W. Bush ran up the deficit $4.9 -trillion over eight years.

Obama as managed to up that over 1.3 trillion dollars in 1 year and 3 months. That will equal 4.16 trillion dollars in 4 yrs. That doesn't include the Health Care bill and what it's gonna do.

Congress authorizes spending. This is what they've done...

Wrong again... Takes both passage by the House, Senate and usually a signature from the President to pass LAWS. Need 2/3 of Congress to override a presidential veto.

As to the graph and misleading information in it....

From 1982-1988 we had Republican President (Reagan) and Republican Control of the Senate.

From 2000-2006 we had a Republican President (Bush) Republican Senate, and Republican House. Republicans controlled the Executive Branch, Supreme Court, and both houses of Congress. Republicans had controlled the House since 1996.

From 2006-2008, Republicans still had the President and Senate.

From 1996-2006 we had Republicans in Control of the House.

From 1996-2008 we had Republican control of the Senate.

From 1996-2006 Republicans controlled The Congress, Senate and House..... That is the last 4 years of Clinton's Presidency (1992-2000) and for too many years with Bush as President. (2000-2006).

Stick with the actual Facts.

After the 2000 election, the Senate was divided evenly between the parties, with Republicans retaining the right to organize the Senate due to the election of Dick Cheney as Vice President and ex officio presiding officer of the Senate. The Senate shifted to control by the Democrats (though they technically were the plurality party as they were one short of a majority) after GOP senator Jim Jeffords changed party registration to "Independent" in June 2001, but later returned to Republican control after the November 2002 elections. In the 2006 elections, Democrats won both the House of Representatives (233 Democrats, 202 Republicans) and the Senate (49 Democrats, 49 Republicans, and 2 Independents caucusing with the Democrats)

Please Stick with the ACTUAL Facts.

(BTW I covered the House previously by providing information that the Republicans held majority in the House of representatives for 11 years out of the past 54).

By the way, we must also factor in things like Tax Revenues. Spending alone does not address or cause deficits by itself.

An Independent is Not Democrat no matter how they vote.

Besides, Joe Lieberman fronting for Kohn McCain (a Republican) for president is pretty much fact enough to label ol Joe a Republican. Who cares if Jeffords switches and switches back? He is still a Republican.

Those are the Actual Facts!

Default ATTENTION: Oba-maniacs and other socialists

FACT: This quote>
Quote:
“Let me remind you: This has been going on for years; we are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you are going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [million] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people. You know, the Republicans have spent a lot of time not participating, not helping, carping and delaying. But at the same time they have contributed nothing to this and made no offers whatsoever as to what it is they want or what they stand for.”
Of course you're right Dingellberry. you clowns shut the door on them.

YouTube - Dingell: It will take some time for ObamaCare to "control the people"

"...to control the people". Isn't that a nice slip of the tongue and uttered by longtime demonRATic stalwart and Oba-ally John 'Ding-Dong School' Dingell. That is precisely what Marxism is all about and he let it slip out. No wonder, the relic is the longest serving member of the House of Representatives EVER at 55 years. Of course, later on after the SHTF he went into damage control mode and said he was referring to the insurance companies". If he meant that he would have said '...to control the insurance companies.' If you buy his bull, I've got some choice beachfront property for you on the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, NY.

I can also show you the smart way to pay for it. Withdraw your health savings account assets before Obama taxes you on it and use that money. It's true.
FACT: Responsible people who put away some hard-earned money will be among the at least 16 new sources of tax/penalty revenues that this ObaCare exacts on us. I spent about one hour scrolling the text looking for taxes and penalty assessments and came up with 16. Hell! There may be even more. Forget his “firm pledge” to never raise taxes on the American middle class. The rates and reasons for these taxes are distributed throughout nearly every section of the law’s more than 2,000 pages. Among the most onorous violations of the President’s promise are taxes related to the individual mandate to purchase a medical care insurance policy, the requirement that nearly every employer provide health insurance options to their employees. Don't you just love it. First he mandates you must buy it and then the bum taxes you for it. There's a good reason they're called "tax and spend" demonRATs! Problem now is they are spending that which they don't have and even all these NEW TAXES can't begin to keep up with the spending. (CUE> STAGE LEFT AGAIN: drag out the effigy of Little Georgie-boy Bush and blame him again as you lash him to the whipping post) Hey! Did anybody see Bush's namer on this piece of sh*t called The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act? ROTFLMAO

This piece of garbage, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, has a section of the bill entitled “Shared Responsibility for Employers” (Section 1513) sets out the mandates placed on the nation’s employers.

FACT: Employers with more than 200 employees must immediately provide every one of their employees with a health insurance policy. The employee reserves the right to opt-out of the plan offered by his or her employer.

FACT: Employers with 50 or more full-time workers, but less than 200, that do not offer health insurance coverage will pay an assessment of $2,000 per full-time worker (not including the first 30 workers) if any of their employees obtains premium tax credits through the newly created government funded health care insurance exchange. Employers that offer unaffordable coverage or coverage that does not cover at least 60 percent of allowable costs will pay $3,000 for any employee that receives a tax credit in the Exchange up to a cap of $2,000 for every full-time employee.

Check me out here. In about the time it took me to read that section of this junk bill I realized that if I'm such an employer it makes great sense to lay-off part of my workforce and add their load to the remainder OR pay the remainder overtime. Option number three would be to reorganize the work shifts so that almost all the workforce comes in as "part-time" workers. No insurance needed. Voila!

So up goes unemployment as a DIRECT result of this Obamanation and then what. The demonRATs do what they predictably always do. They make a new law to extend unemploymeny benefits. Soon the goooberment will be paying out two full years of continuous unemployment benefits and will have subliminally and very subtlely, with no real intent to do so, inculcated an attitude of "Hey why should I work ever again?' A new sub-class of ex-worker is created to become another parasite on the backs of the remaining workforce. That's your Marxist state and also why it fails as you eventually run out of the rich and working people to tax and the society, having become irresponsibly parasitic and devoid of initiative crumbles.

FACT: Here's another beaut. Under this law, Americans cannot purchase over-the-counter medicines with pre-tax dollars drawn from health savings accounts (HAS), flexible spending accounts (FSA), or health reimbursement accounts (HRA). They're all so noted in this piece of crap. As of 2011, funds from these accounts can only be used to purchase medicine prescribed by a physician approved under the auspices of the exchange or other qualifying plan. That means if you have a real serious condition and want to go the fee-for-service outside the system route you can't use YOUR OWN SAVINGS monies as noted to pay for those prescriptions.

So where has your freedom of choice gone?

FACT: You gave it away to The False Messiah! How dumb were you?

You applauded him on and let them do it again. Those very same people who promoted abortion on demand, demonRATs, on the grounds that each individual is sovereign over her/his own body (A woman's right to choose...HURRAH!) have done a hypocritical 180 degree pirouette and now placed the bodies of every American under the total and ultimate authority of the federal government. You leftie libs are truly hypocrites.

The new IRS mandate with ObamaCare is to enforce penalties and collections making Americans buy health insurance. If you're due a refund or some other federal benefit, and you didn't obtain qualified insurance, your refund or benefit will be tapped for your fee.

The IRS is not a bill collector, insurance is not a tax and the IRS lacks the authority to enforce the collection of insurance premiums but the mandate effectively creates a back door tax for government run healthcare.

Actually I was just clearing up inaccuracies. If they do not have a majority, they do not have a majority, and as of 2006 there were 49 of each, and 2 independents.
