Does the left hate Sarah Palin?Just as much as the right hates President Obama.US politics is weird, dominated by mud-slinging. More rhetoric is spent on personel attacks than actual discussions of issues and proposals for solving them. Both sides are equally guilty of categorizing and heaping undeserved criticism on the other.
I don't understand the dislike for palin.I know that whatever political shirt color you choose to wear has an influance. Republicans don't like Democrats and vice versa. But the hate for palin seems to go beyond that.I understand not liking the other shirt color, but why does this reach another level for a woman that really doesn't seem to me to have accomplished nearly enough for the left to despise her.
Why can't someone objectively critique Sarah Palin without carrying the label of Palin Hater? Why can't someone critique President Obama without carrying the label of racist.Have we drifted so far from honest debate that everybody must be categorized as either a lover or hater?

Good post! It is not President Obama that we don't like, it is his big government, socialist style policies. President Obama does have his good points though. He tries to be a good father despite what his own father did to him. He seems to love his wife, which is something that you can't say about a lot of politicians these days.

Sarah Palin also has her good points and weak points. She seems to love her children. She chose to give birth to her child with Down Syndrome. Overall, she seems to have a pleasant personality. As far as policies are concerned, her foreign policy seems to be very weak. She seems to have a lack of experience with foreign policy. She does seem to be knowledgable about the economy and creating jobs, which is probably due to the fact that she was a small business owner for awhile.

What some of us don't understand, is why certain people did not object to "big government" when someone else was in charge. What is it about Obama that caused the Tea Partiers to go off the deep end? I was looking at a gallery of Tea Party signs and saw one that was hilarious. It said, "Cut taxes, not defense". Just how do they think defense is paid for?

Re: Sarah, I doubt the "nice personality". She didn't get that nickname, "Sarah Barracuda" back in high school for nothing. Also, her relationships with other people seem somewhat dysfunctional, and she's a whiner.

What small business did she own? I've never heard that before. Her experience has been mostly in government, e.g. mayor of Wasilla, member of the Oil and Gas commission, Governor of AK.

I think even less of Limbaugh than I do of Palin---but she was kissing his azz when she defended this and she should have known better.

I know, its really sad and shocking. They even went after her children.
If there is a way to break a person's heart, go after their child.
I think its because she is a real Christian personally. Of course Christians are not perfect, that's why they ARE Christians. I threw that in just in case people start throwing more stones at her.
They hung that dummy of her up out in California and people were cheering.
I really think it is because she is not a Christian in name only. We can see her faith in action.

As far as Obama, who cares if he is black?
Its the Dems that keep talking about it.
We don't care that he is black but they use it to drum up hate and keep the votes coming in.
This is my opinion.

I love Sarah Palin!

I love the fire in her eyes!

I love that she chose to jump on an airplane for a 10 hour (?) flight to Alaska even tho Trig (Trip? Tripe? Trog?) was was about to be born and that she thought about an abortion but decided that maybe god would bless her with a miscarriage on the flight home (Oh No! Tragedy for Poor Poor Sarah!) instead of having him in the lower 48.

But then the brilliance of our Lord saviour JC showed Sarah that she could use her retard ... er ... um ... challenged child to get sympathy and support from the wingnu...um...Real Americans here in REAL AMERICA.

GOD BLESS SARAH PALIN AND GOD BLESS THE WHITE PEOPLE LIKE ME ... UM, THE USA!

"They" have gone after almost every politiican's kids. Just do a search.

A "real Christian"? Just what is a "real Christian"?

Hanging effigies of pols? Something else that has happened to most all of them, once they get into national politics. Sarah is just a whiner b/c she think's she's the only one, and sadly, so do some of her followers.

No, it didn't....I nailed the "I like Sarah because she isn't Obama/Pelosi/or any other Democrat" theme quite well and accurately.
