Doctors Sue to Overturn the Health Care Bill | Press Releases @ Your Story (http://www.your-story.org/doctors-sue-to-overturn-the-health-care-bill-157035/ - broken link)

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) became the first medical society to sue to overturn the newly enacted health care bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). AAPS sued Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia (AAPS v. Sebelius et al.).

"If the PPACA goes unchallenged, then it spells the end of freedom in medicine as we know it," observed Jane Orient, M.D., the Executive Director of AAPS. "Courts should not allow this massive intrusion into the practice of medicine and the rights of patients."

AAPS asks the Court to enjoin the government from promulgating or enforcing insurance mandates and require HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Social Security Commissioner Michael Astrue to provide the Court with an accounting of Medicare and Social Security solvency.

Didnt Democrats and Obama tell us doctors supported this?

LOLs. Yes we were told doctors supported this.

I wonder also when people start suing as this legislation violates religious freedom.

If the Catholics or a group that size was exempted then the whole thing would fall apart. There won't be enough people paying into it.

Maybe with all the pressure and the majority of ALL AMERICANS against this Obama will change his mind and fix his mistakes.

Afterall he caved into our pressure about the KSM trials once he took notice that we would not stand for his mistakes any longer.

Keep the pressure on and the lawsuits coming.

As I understand it observant Muslims would be exempted as commercial insurance is considered haraam.

The AMA was for it after they were against it.

Like the other groups.."against" and then magically "for".
I guess Obama has some pretty strong meetings with folks.

AARP, AMA, UAW..all were "against", met with the President and then "for".
Just like several Congressmen did.

ooh god no, that wont happen. The ONLY thing Obama cares about is passing this legislation. Its his legacy.. Everything else he does people will forget about given 50 years.. Unemployment, economy, KSM, hell people will even forget that Obama continued the wars.. The ONLY thing that will leave a long lasting that people will remember is who signed the healthcare bill into law..
