Excuses excuses. You could have said the exact same words to justify the genocide perpetrated by the Nazis.

Fill in the blank. War, any war for that matter, will do that to some people. You must be young or not up to snuff on the world history of war(s).

Someone needs to study history better to understand what is going on in Iraq.

If you think nations don't go to war over political matters and balance of power, more education is needed.

You can rest assured, if the US is at war, there is a definite and immediate national security risk and it's very serious. They may not put it to you the way it actually is, because the mass crowds would not understand it that way. It makes us all paranoid, and the thought of doing wrong to "others" insults are delicate, evolved emotions, which have been free of violence for 150 years.

Sadam was likely to become the next Hitler and cause a 3rd world war, and take over the world. So you're right about the Nazi's in that respect, Sadam was likely about to become the next Hitler.

Our government is balanced in power. Meaning congress, the senate and the president basically must agree on these decisions.

Another thing most people would never understand. If this one incident were a mistake, it could have been because these soldiers may have PTSD, and PTSD is a defense mechanism the body develops for protection in extreme danger. They now perceive extreme danger everywhere and will believe a threat to be worse than it is from only small cues, like seeing weapons, and what appears to be a rocket launcher aimed at them. That is IF it were a mistake. It would also cause the unemotional, cold remarks. It's also normal and needed in this type of extreme danger situation.

I've seen accounts on the internet of soldiers returning form Iraq, unable to sleep at night, and having flashbacks of "insurgents" throwing US soldiers' body parts off of buildings.

These people placing themselves in a war zone, not smart. They are strolling down the street like they think they're visiting their local zoo and taking scenic photos. Not a good idea. If other US soldiers get killed by mistake, why would journalists think they have supreme protection? It just doesn't happen that way.

Yawn.

Where are the WMDs? Until you can produce the WMDs - the purported cause for our invasion of Iraq - your blather has zero credibility.

You're comments are ignorant, uneducated and unfounded. Iraq had no balance of power, and one man was about to control the world with the amount of money he had in oil. That means those guys who THROW BODY parts would have been at your doorstep in a matter years.

I'm glad it's NOT YOU protecting our country. You would be too busy "yawning" while we were overtaken by a dictator and destroyed.

You're comments are rude and ignorant, as you sit in comfort never having to participate in war, berating those who do. Your blather is on ignore.

The problem with the pro-american commentators is that they enter in dialogue with the antiamerican punks, trying to...reason them...

U should know by now that a snake has only poison,so from an antiamer u can expect only defamation & hate against America...

Don't argue with antiamers,just...keep shootin...
