Again, where were they when GWB was spending like there was no tomorrow? The Trillion $$ deficit didn't appear out of nowhere, and it didn't begin with the current administration.

Bush added over 300 billion to the deficit his first term, and an additional 200+ billion by 2008. Not to mention TARP, guaranteeing 8 trillion in loans to banks--that's trillion, with a "T".

Big government??? read up on the hundreds of thousands of pages of new regulations put into place while GWB was in office.

ABSOLUTELY it's about what party is in office.

Not a peep when the (R)s were in charge. Nobody descending on Capital hill and screaming about govt' waste.

I guess when the (R)s were in charge for 6.5 of GWBs 8 years, it wasn't considered waste.

Irony-no, hypocrisy, a big fat yes.
I beg to differ about "not a peep" when republicans were in charge....the Tea Party was formed when Bush was president...then people thought there would be change because some man had a slogan of change...but government has just been getting bigger since then and now people are getting angry because they hoped for change that didn't come....they wanted change from Bush...not change from when Obama took office....Obama kind of made people more angry because he lied about a lot of the change he said he was bringing.....but if you want to see it as a race issue, or party issue and dismiss the people's anger than go ahead...If you do dismiss it..at least tell me what is so great about the way government is doing things now compared to the first year and a half of Bush since that seems to be your reason to hate the Tea Party?

The "Tea Party" was formed in 2009 after it was suggested by the founder that tea bags be mailed to Congress. It grew out of the RON PAUL 2008 Presidential campaign.

I don't "hate" anyone, it takes too much energy. I see them for what they are. Again, not a peep when GWB was expanding Gubmit and spending taxpayer $$ like it was water..

How impressively ironic of them.

I find these threads pretty interesting right now. Even Juan Williams says the Democrats are cutting off their nose to spite their face with the attacks on the Tea Party seeing that 40% of the Tea Party members are Democrats or Independants. This was reinterated again by another liberal last night. Keep it up and watch it back fire..

Baloney. According to a poll taken by Quinnipiac, 74% of the teabaggers are either Republicans or independent voters leaning Republican...Only 16% were Democrats or independents leaning Democrat.

Oh, and btw....88% are white..

I believe you're the ignorant one - they not ALL Republican, or very very old.

I'm sure you would rather hang around gays, given your obsession with the phrase "teabagger".
