Places like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone might not actually 'disappear', but with no government to run them, they would no longer be 'national parks', now would they?
And? There are lots of private parks in this country very well managed..
You do understand how ridiculous that is.. Private concerns will exploit the natural beauty to make money. They would have no interest in destroying it..
Ever seen the hydroelectric plant at top of the mountain in Great Falls, Mt?
More than likely it was contracted out by the government function to a private firm to operate. I have yet to see a government operated land fill..
As long as I can remember this landfill is owned and operated by the local government. I've known a few people who have worked there and were employees of Prince Georges County. Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill
Not going to go through all of these but you again ignore the fact that the government contracts these services out. The Hillsborough one for example contracts with

The Delta Junction landfill is contracted to Scale House, but I'm really not sure what your point is. Even if they were operated by the government (which they arent), it still isnt socialism.
Grand Canyon is not a 'private park'. The government may award contracts to various companies to handle some services, but it is still government owned, making it a public space. And who ultimately pays for these services? We all do, through government payment to these various companies providing the services!

The fact that the owner is the government wouldnt change the park if it was privately owned. Many of these parks are being totally contracted out to private firms to manage and have been for years. There is one firm out there, (dont recall the name) who manages hundreds of parks for NO cost to the taxpayer..
We dont pay for these companies, many of them charge fees for services. Transportation for example on the park is paid for by fees charged to be transported.
There are LOTS of companies out there that manage parks, like "Borsarmulu Park Management", Garrick, and hundreds of other firms.
Property owners with damaged sidewalks may be issued notifications from this Bureau for repairs which are needed to eliminate safety hazards.
They will NOT fix your sidewalks, they will FINE you for having them broken..

You seem to be missing the point that, when 'the government' contracts out any service, it is the taxpayers who ultimately pay that contract! Whether by actually paying the bill for the service (as I do here in Las Vegas) or by an increase in taxes to pay it (as I used to have when I lived in Michigan). If the government didn't require that trash be collected and taken to a 'dump', how many people do you think would even bother with it? I remember as a kid growing up when all paper trash went into a barrel out back to be burned, as well as burning piles of leaves in the fall. Can't think of any community that allows that any more, so of course, when the government decided those things were unacceptable, they had to provide a place for all of that trash to go and a way to get it there. Which meant the people (taxpayers) needed to pay for it, one way or the other.
