No, the Tea Party is not a racist organization. Sure, some of their members may be, but there are racists everywhere in the world, and they come in all colors - not just white.

The democrats know that charges of racism were out of line, even way back in '08, as they tried to claim anyone who did not want to vote for 0bama was a racist. Its a the single most used tool in the democratic party toolbox, try to shame people into doing what you want, or else you'll call them dirty names in public.

I'm certain that some members are, just like any other group. Is the NAACP racist? What about the United Negro College Fund? The Congressional Black Caucus? What about MSNBC?

I cannot understand why the President of the United States is making fun of 60% of the population. Is he stupid or just plain ignorant?

You keep forgetting that a lot of what we all thought we saw in the market and the economy appeared to be doing just fine, was actually falling apart at the seams. so tout the greed and excesses of the 1990s, but we all know it was smoke and mirrors when the market crashed.

During the Clinton years a lot of things were set in motion which resulted in the banking crisis in 2009. We had the request for a merger of Citicorp and Travelers Group in 1998, which ended up creating Citigroup, this was illegal under the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933.

So in 1999, the Glass-Steagall was repealed, which had effectively split investment banking and brokerages from commercial banks. You cannot blame this on clinton, the members of congress thought we were to sophisticated in our modern world, and no longer needed such regulations.

Then Clinton made things worse with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, which not only allowed Citigroup to exist but also eliminated the barriers between bankers, who were supposed to limit risks, and investment bankers, who were supposed to take them.

So much of what happened in 2009 was set in motion under Clinton ten years earlier, but Clinton gets off Scott free, because the Enron bubble had not burst yet.
Absolutely correct .. and lets not leave out GATT which set the stage for massive off shore movement of manufacturing from 1995-2000.

People just do not understand what has taken place in congress for the past 20 years that have set the stage for what we are now experiencing, so it's no wonder why you'll see blank stares if you start talking about the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the how the announced ratification of the 16th Amendment in the same timeframe was a total fraud. For those interested, Bill Benson compiled all of the data (17,000 notarized documents) traveling to all 48 continental states, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 16th was never even close to being ratified by the requisite 3/4 of the state legislatures.

The robbery of the American people started a long time ago. We are only waking up to it now because of the accelerated pace at which the theft is now occurring.

This isn't an Obama thing, nor even a Bush thing ... nope ... not even Slick Willie can take all the credit .... they're all just participants ... working for a system run by gangsters, that was established before we were born.

Actually, I can't decide which part I like best about this guy. Is it the ring around his neckline saying "Glenn Beck is my hero", or the ballcap scribbled with "Viking Redneck"?
The sign is a very accurate discription of who we have as president. To this guy out there standing up for his Country...you would be the squirrel climbing his tree to get his nuts.....

The facts speak for themselves just like the words out of Obama's own mouth.

Ah, the old "admit nothing-deny everything" strategy, the last refuge of criminals & sociopaths everywhere. Hurry, I think Glenn Beck is on soon, to administer his regular "feeding", of paranoia & narcissistic rage!

That's what I asked, rhetorically.

60% of Americans agree with what they stand for.
