The idea that "drug money" isn't taxed, is a fallacy.

Yes, the individual that sells the drugs, or grows the drugs, yes they aren't taxed. However, the money they make is taxed, one way or another. If they spend it on rent, the land lord pays taxes on that. If they spend it on food, taxed, if they spend it on electricity, taxed.

If they go out and buy a 1000 dollar suit, taxed.

They are taxed with sales taxes already.

A national sales tax is a bad idea. National taxes are easier, when simpler. As is with the flat tax.

Heres an interesting article on the "fair tax". Check it out.

The Flat Tax Is Not Flat and the FairTax Is Not Fair by Laurence M. Vance

You're right, something needs to change, but changing to a system that still abused, and isn't fair to everyone, isn't something to change to.

Flat taxes are regressive. They harm the lowest income people the most.

Without boring all and simply put, what all of this means is that if you need 700 a month for rent and 300 in other expenses per month for things like rent, food or transport, you will need at least 12K a year just to pay your bills. That is 12K. per year.

Now say your income triples to 36K per year.

If you make 36K a year and know that you can live on the very same 700 + 300 per month, (12K) you are gonna have left over money to spend.

You will then have extra income above your most basic needs.

With that income you can buy a TV or a computer, or 2 or 3 of them. Or, you can pay taxes for the others that do not. Like the poor, cept they aint got the money, the rich do. So, to keep it all OK for them (the Rich) we pay taxes.

Once you have the 1st TV and computer, the 2nd or 3rd, of them are not as needed or necessary to you. As such, their value diminishes and you may put your money elsewhere. Because you have it.

Now let me take 10% from all of you for fair taxes. Seem fair?

The cat with the 12K gonna buy a gun.

The cat with 2-3 Tv's gonna bitc#. to the government about the threats and then about taxes and the size of the Governmentt.

Gov will do what it does.

Spend more of your money to protect you... Using your own money to protect you from your own stupidity.

The cat with the gun is still holding one.

The super rich hide out to the extent they can pretend to.

Wow!
