You need to read the Constitution. The powers of the Federal Government are limited, and those which are not specifically granted to the Federal Government by the Constitution are left to the States.

Lets see...your qualifications in regard to constitutional issues end at passing grade school civics while Obama is a constitutional lawyer that taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago.
The Socialist Party of America claims Obama is far from one of their own. They say he is a corporatist, which should make you happy. They said Sarah Palin governed as the most Socialist of the 4 final contenders by jacking taxes up on corportations and spreading the wealth to the citizens.
Got any credible references? Obama was a "New Party" member in Chicago. He was steeped in socialism as a child, and he has admitted that he sought out Marxists and socialists. He has filled his administration with them (along with a couple of Maoists).
