That's how Republicans and conservatives think. They're all about free and small government as long as you live your life according to their moral compass.

Stray from those morals though, and they have no problem having the government legislate you back into line.

Sorry, but I don't find it acceptable for bartenders, waitresses, etc. to die/get cancer from people who can't put a cigarette down for an hour.

I guess you've never heard of someone killing themselves by turning their car on and sitting in a closed garage?

I personally get headaches whenever I smell exhaust from cars.

I'd love it if we were a less car-dependent nation.
