All told, 15.3 million people were out of work in April.
Counting people who have given up looking for work and part-timers who would prefer to be working full time, the so-called underemployment rate rose to 17.1 in April. That shows just how difficult it is to get work.

"Private sector employment increased 231,000, also the largest gain since March 2006, after rising 174,000 in March. Private payrolls have now grown for four months. Census hiring contributed 66,000 jobs."

They have about 45 days of work left.
About 90% will be laid off in June, and those with the highest productivity rates will be selected to target no response areas (generally Section 8 housing areas).
That'll last for about 60 days, and that'll be the end of it. A couple of people including myself got to stay on for another 90 days doing data entry.
Like I said, they'll make enough money to catch up on past due bills, then be broke the rest of the summer.
