First, let me apologize if there is already a thread on this, I have been studying for Nursing finals and haven't been following the boards as much!

Okay, so we are now giving Arizona, California, Florida and Michigan MORE money to "save" people from foreclosure? I am normally a bleeding heart liberal, but I mean COME ON! When does this stop?
We are struggling to pay our mortgage and bills on one income (I am in school) with a family of 5, but somehow we are doing it (lots of tomato soup/grilled cheese)! I do feel bad for people who have lost their jobs and through no fault of their own and are in the midst of a foreclosure, but where does it stop, how long are we to bail everyone out? BTW, I was very much against bailing out big business as well!

It is very sad. By not letting the system work properly we are just kicking the can down the road. But politicians don't care about the future of America, just about getting a vote.

This what the right has been saying a along. Don't start. Once you start, you can't stop. The Federal Government is not the savior of all mankind.

There should have been NO bailouts. No bailouts for stupid mortgage buyers, no bailouts for any business (nothing is 'too big to fail'). Glad to hear that even the liberals are finally starting to come around. Maybe that is what it will take to finally end the bailout madness.
