Arizona Ethnic studies law protestors "kill" Tom Horne during demonstration

Quote:
TUCSON - At Tucson Unified School District, Friday afternoon, students protested the new ethnic studies ban. They also protested one of its biggest backers, State Schools Superintendent, Tom Horne. The students performed a skit that ended in the mock killing Horne.

We spoke with Horne about the skit he said, "I think that this is an illustration of the intellectual level of Barraza studies and what they're teaching them. The lowest intellectual level and the radicalism and the lack of reason and logic as a negative emotion that are a part of that course."

I guess the days of petitions and letter writing are over.
Looked like HS age kids from the video.

It will be defended as their right to free speech.
Why try to resolve an issue peacefully when you can just "kill off" the guy pushing the change you don't like ?

Future voters these kids..what will they do if they don't like how a vote turns out ?

Apparently the only thing they learned from "Lord of the Flies" was imitation.

They're angry, understandably. While it may not be admirable, they do have a right to express their anger, and as long as they're not breaking any laws, they are free to express themselves however they wish.

I think painted signs and organized protests would be more acceptable than a mock killing of a school official.

What any of us find "acceptable" doesn't matter in the long run. I don't think it's anything to get uptight about.

Sure. That is what Krystal Nachen was all about. Just angry people "expressing" themselves.

When will you liberals wake up? Fascism does not have a selective blade and cuts indiscriminantly. When one opposes personal freedom and the integrity of the nation, it is only a matter of time before totalitarianism reigns. To support "La Raza" (how racist is that) is to aid and assist an element set to destroy our nation and culture.

Wake up.
