Have you read that law yet? The answer given to Congressmen by the Obama people is standard, I guess, "No I haven't read it but I am against it." I love how they were handled by committees this week and had to admit they don't read.

Considering states are obliged to be doing considerable budget cuts, perhaps they should consider getting rid of some of the excess law enforcement burden.

It's still legal to kill Indians in Montana and South Dakota, but I think it's high time Indians voted on that one. Turnabout being fair play would mean 5-7 white men on their land for any reason are a war party meriting execution.

No one in Connecticut is allowed to walk backwards after sunset.

Floridians must bathe dressed, Vermont is forced into the tub on Saturday whether they like it or not, while Indiana may only bathe seasonally.

Idaho better smile OR ELSE?

Anyone brave enough to ask what the heck is going on in South Carolina that horses aren't allowed in bathtubs? These people are scaring me. Wait... it's illegal for donkeys to sleep in bathtubs in brooklyn!
Crazy Laws
How many of those laws were passed in the 19th century? The one listed for Kansas was certainly passed before many autos were on the roads.

I especially liked the picture for the Colorado entry.

ROYS! You lecherous old man you!! LOL

When I saw that one I was wondering how many car accidents were behind that bike, and how long that officer lingered behind him before he decided to pull him over.

Yes I believe many of these are blue laws. The state that makes it obligatory to smile-- I've yet to meet the smile police and hope I never do.
