He may have left off the apostrophe - as in, "US' and Arizona's..."

John Cornyn's statement..after the fact of course.

Cornyn Statement On Mexico President Calderon’s Address To Congress | Texas GOP Vote
"But it was inappropriate for President Calderon to lecture Americans on our own state and federal laws. Arizona’s immigration law has been amended to make clear it does not authorize racial profiling by law enforcement. Moreover, the Second Amendment is not a subject open for diplomatic negotiation, with Mexico or any other nation."

What I find even more scary and sad then Congress applauding is that they are so clueless about what the people in this country want.

Open borders for votes is really what this country has been doing for the last 20 years.
Hoping to ignore that law and destruction of our sovernity so come Nov republicans and democrats and get a few more at the polls.
That's exactly right.
The goal is to have all Mexico be able to vote here.
And they will vote Democrat most likely.

Calderon isn't allowed to have an opinion, and to express it?

Since when? You are free to disagree with him, but to say he cannot express his opinion is downright un-American.

Not all Congress, only Democrats were applauding. The open border is working for them.

The goal is to exploit illegal labor for economic gain.

That's not exactly a Democratic plan...

More like the illegals are working for business...which tend to be Republican.

You want to curb illegal immigration? Address the demand. Throw some white, Republican employers in jail and see the demand dry up.

They will continue to risk coming here as long as someone pays them to.

Guess who pays them to, and pays the goverment to look the other way?

Have you noticed a trend lately from the 'right'?

There's been a lot of wolf tickets and bulls**t being thrown out into the void on an almost daily basis...y'know---'just you wait til 2012/2010!!! we'll show you we're taking this country back!!!'

Which is fine and dandy...but just suppose I am a voter 'on the fence', dissatisfied with the President, and I want to hear what the opposition party has to offer platform-wise...all I've heard non-stop, since Inauguration Day, is a bunch of (LOL...I'm wearing this phrase out, but it applies here) chest-beating, flag-waving, pseudo-patriotic badassedness, sound bite after sound bite about what the current administration is doing wrong and boundless accusations of terrorist-and-illegal alien sympathy, financial ruin, socialism and communism, the list goes on and on...

All that confounded hot air and smart-mouthing, and NOT ONE THING about (gasp!!) what they would ACTUALLY DO IF ELECTED...just more 'I hate Barry Hussein Obummer' and nothing else that you could sink your teeth into...you would think that if they're frothing at the mouth THAT MUCH about taking over, they'd actually have a viable platform to show people...but then, I think that would interfere too much with all the hot-air spewing, which is more fun than actually telling potential voters what you stand for...

I may have strayed a bit off-topic for a moment, but I felt that needed to be said

and to stomach---these hacks get PAID!

...by U.S. citizens!!

Sickening and disgusting that such Quislings infest this Nation.

They are completely comfortable, and determined to undermine this Nations's sovereignty. These "leaders" betray their oaths to defend the Nation's borders, and uphold its laws; as they demonize patriots, and enable scofflaws!

A pox on them all...
