The article didn't give the nationality of the apartment owners. I'll bet you dollars to donuts they're middle eastern. This social progressive movement in the US is way outta control.

The apartment building is private property and a private business. The landlord has a right to set the rules. Didn't right wingers just make a case about the government not meddling in private business. Now they cry like babies. When did Middle East become synonymous with socially liberal or progressive. Middle Eastern countries are more known to be socially conservative.

As sure flowers bloom in Spring some landlord/HOA or whatever gets in the news by banning the US flag. The issue then quietly goes away because of the negative publicity or the citation of relevant court cases dealing with the flag and freedom of speech.

Yes, it means the vet did not/would not/ could not READ the rules.....being a vet doesn't give you a free pass over the rights of others....why would you think THAT????

They'd have to bring in the SWAT team to force me to take down my American flag. I don't care if the owners of the apartment are white, black, yellow, or red. I don't discriminate when it comes to persecuting anti-Americanism.

Because Arabs are well known for their social progressive character.

LOL

This is private property. The vetern doesn't have First Amendment rights in this case.

It's unfortunate, but legal.

This is the exact argument Rand Paul was making. There is a big blur in public and private and the civil rights that go with each.

If it is inside his apartment, there is not much the landlord can do, as the renter has paid to have privacy of his domain.

There was a similar thing happen at a college dorm.
