Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports™

Quote:
Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That is the lowest level of approval yet measured for this president. Fifty-six percent (56%) now disapprove of his performance.

Forty-four percent (44%) say the president is doing a good or excellent job on national security issues while 39% give him such positive marks on the economy.
Abysmal numbers - which is a really good thing, now that I think of it. These numbers (and hopefully lower numbers still) will be very helpful in the fall.

Watching what this clueless leader does on a daily basis one has to wonder how his numbers are that good.
I think a lot of people are still fooled, and many people pay no attention to what's going on around them.
If everyone tuned in and paid attention to what is happening to our country under his lack of leadership, his numbers would be half of that 44% number... There are heading in that direction..
He will always have the far left loons you see posting in CD, who will support him no matter what, and then you have many of his supporters just want their handouts from "Obama's Stash", but fortunately most logical people see the corrupt SOB for what he really is, and the future of the democratic party is not bright, to say the least...!

As usual Rasmussen doesn't match any other pollster.

I'm surprised it's that high, considering that Rasmussen is a poll for hard core rightwingers.

Oh, I didn't realize polls were supposed to match.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a dip in the next week, considering he is getting hammered on the oil spill and a few other things.

That's an interesting opinion.

Nate Silver of 538, a pure leftist, rate Rasmussen as one of the top pollsters.

Try again.

Way to take the outlier.
RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

Using your methods I say his approval ratings are up to 52%.

Rasmussen has had a solid record in close to an election, but not further away.

Its one thing when a poll is a couple points off, however when its so far away from anything else out there, it does tell you something....
