Hard to argue with that "logic"

Well it's like John Stewart said, Hitler had a mustache and Mother Teresa also had a mustache, so therefore Mother Teresa must have been a fascist.

Why is it so hard to believe? If you'd seen any of his films you'd know why he's respected.

That creepy pervert is a damn good movie director...

Chinatown is a work of art.

I wouldn't mind letting him back in the country to make some more movies....from JAIL. With the profits to go to rape crisis centers, naturally.

We get the movies, he gets jail, rape crisis centers get funding - everybody wins!

There is no 'rational' defense to this type of journalistic endeavor. Family privacy and the individual sanctity of one's private property and home should not be exploited by unwarranted and unauthorized contact by a journalist. The vast majority of Americans side with Sarah on this issue. The Democratic Party/MSM supporters of McGinniss should be aware of the political fallout of their implicit encouragement of McGinniss's conduct toward the Palins.

If Joe McGinniss wanted to write an unauthorized biography, he could certainly do that without moving in next door to the Palins. In fact, it’s hard to figure what Joe McGinniss would learn from that kind of physical proximity that has anything to do with politics or activism that couldn’t be learned through regular research and footwork.

It still seems creepy to me, and slightly pathetic. If this guy and his publisher are so well-thought-of, why such a low class move?

He's trying to ruin Palin's rep. But it looks like he messing up his own name.

Has he contacted her at all? Have the other people who lived next door to her also violated her family privacy and sanctity?

The vast majority of Americans don't side with Sarah Palin on anything. She is nothing more than comic relief for most people.

Something tells me his books sales will be unaffected by your rant.

If he could teach his fellow prisoners filmmaking skills as well as teaching them foreign languages, he would be doing society a great benefit.

Although one could make a case for Dick Cheney being more of an imminent threat to society and having ruined the lives of far more young people.

Give him a break. You've got to admit the names Joe McGinniss and Roman Polanki sound and look so very much the same so, of course, that means they are both perverts.
