But would they be lawful orders????
I followed orders also, even the ones I didn't agree with. But would I fire upon US civilians who refused to give up their personal property because some asshat in DC says so? Not a chance. In fact I can't think of a single person that I served with that would have.
Looters? Absolutely. But people refusing to hand over lawfully purchased property? For refusing to forfeit a right our founding fathers guaranteed us? Not a chance.
Wouldn't matter. Who provides my checks, my housing, my food? That's why I went ahead and followed orders I found to be unlawful.
But I did get out so that I was not subject myself to that same sort of challenge again. However, if my employer tells me to do something, I don't balk at it.

UCMJ states that you can not be compelled to follow an unlawful order. Thats why using the I just followed orders excuse doesn't work when your caught.
I would follow the orders I was given, whether I agreed with them or not. I'd gripe about it, and wonder why we didn't just kill them instead of putting our lives at risk.
TK, I find it hard to believe a man like you who fully supports the principle of states rights and the original intention of the Constitution and Bill of rights would "obey orders" to the extent of killing fellow Americans because the said fellow citizens believed in the Second Ammendment. For gawd's sake tell me you are kidding around a bit and trying to provoke. THAT I can understand. But further than that, I just can't.

I'm ex-military, and I'm an Oathkeeper. We'll NEVER allow the federal government to turn our military against our own population again. That is an order no sane sitting president would dare to make.

Scary part is what "if" a banking holiday happened and all commerce stopped? No money or credit to buy fuel if any is to be had, no mail ( think of how many people depend on the mail for their mecidine) no trucking due to no fuel being sold. In 90 days the very old and very young would start to die off. No trucking no food delivered to the big cities.
Why are the tv networks all showing how to survive shows in the US unless something somewhere is being discussed and the rational is if people believe that sooner or later there would be an end and it would get better. False hope given by the networks.
Sorry just got to wondering any advise out there?
another thing the US needs to have the over 60 crowd to basicily die off, most of the money is spent on the elderly in the last few years of life, along with lowering the amount of money owed to retiree's is social security, medicare, and disability payments, thin the herd and a lot of unfunded mandates go away.
