I'm all for it being legal for medical purposes. But I want it legalized all around. My feeling is that, PA will be one of the last states, or atleast lower down on the list of states that will legalize it. But who knows! Only time will tell.
I'd love to see it legalized throughout the entire US. I'm disgusted by how much money is wasted on a war that only captures 5% of the marijuana coming into the country. It's also sad that people's lives are ruined by being busted and placed in jail for smoking it. God put the plant on earth and we should all be allowed to partake with no consequences. It's horrible that marijuana was given a bad name by false lies/propaganda spread in the 30's because the paper industry didn't want competition to it's product. Also sad that the war on marijuana has caused countless violent events. Cartels get rich because it's illegal........legalize it and watch the violence start to disappear. But sadly the courts, police, and DEA make a ton of cash off the war on drugs so they will fight mightily to keep it illegal. I don't smoke it because it's illegal but it's bull**** that I'm not allowed to put something into my body that harms nobody else (and does less harm than nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, sugar, and fatty foods).

Yeah, PA seems like they would be one of the last states to jump on board when it eventually happens (legalization by states). It stinks that the medical marijuana bill won't pass and many people in pain will have to fear getting busted for taking something that is safer than aspirin.

I completely agree with you. It's so sad how so many people have bought into the Above The Influence capaign that is plagueing our country. Schools, advertisements, and even parents are spreading false facts and inaccurate information. "Land of the free", huh? So I can smoke cigarettes that will eventually kill me, but not marijuana? What a country!

I smoke (illegally of course) but I wish there could be a day sometime soon were I could relax on my porch and smoke without worry. Too bad as of now I still need to watch were I smoke and do it stealthly... Most of the time

It'll force other states around it to legalize, because likely their citizens will be going to California that want to buy it. Stores will open up along the border, just as states where gambling was made legal, open Casinos and bingo halls along the borders.

Its a long drive from Florida, but I'll be fine.

It'll also lower prices, probably, because supply of illegal Marijuana will increase, due to decreased demand for it.
What? Do you realize that if one state makes it legal it doesn't mean you are allowed to drive in there and buy a huge stash and drive back home with it? You DO know that right? You will get caught and go to jail eventually. Also, just because a neighboring state makes something legal, the neighbors don't automatically follow suit, they will just sit there and wait for the likes of you to come by and nail you, making more money off of your fines than the taxing of weed.

BTW, you can make the trip now and just walk into a crackpot doctor's office and get a script. Then you can drive back with it and hone your skills.

Youre right. It would be illegal to go buy in CA and drive back to your state. I feel like it would be like fireworks. Most people buy them on the border and go home to use them even though there illegal in the state you came from. (Or atleast for me in PA) This might be a bad example but I think the same type of thing would happen with marijuana. Who knows...

I'm not a pothead but I'd love to live in California. You mind also helping me with housing? It would get me out of your hair.

I stopped smoking years ago.

I am not a pothead.

But I would so much prefer to live around potheads than drunk drivers.

Anti marijuana people. Get a clue. To remain anti marijuana, you're just creepy.
