Well, local unemployment rates are dropping clear across the country. If that continues, only matter of time before the national rate starts chipping down further.

Oh, so now the right wants to decouple 9/11 and Iraq? How - convenient.

It was the Bush administration's decision to launch Iraq with 9/11 as justification, and their agitprop was so successful that a good part of their core constituency still thinks the two events were linked. I see no reason to cut GWB and his cronies any slack on that. Their decision, their responsibility.
