I am posting this thread under the "Forida" state, and not under pets, since it is for the specific area I am moving to.
I have 2 dogs, and I am planning of taking them to a trainer, to "polish" them a bit, and teach them some better manners.
(They are NOT aggressive, but have very "selective" hearing and their manners could be a bit better..
)
Anybody has a lead, info or recommendation?

Jupiter-Tequesta Dog Club . Please feel free to attend one of their meetings. They offer confirmation, obedience and rally training at a very reasonable rate. There are a lot of trainers in the club. Pick the one you like. They have a lot of dogs that have titles. I have my preference when it comes to trainers. I am not going to list their names here. Check out yourself. They are very nice. You are going to meet a lot of dog rescuers and trainers so you will learn..

One more thing. Jupiter-Tequesta Dog club does all the training in its beautiful indoor facility. So it is clean and air conditioned at all time. Pat is their president. Peggy is the trainer listed on their website. Robin is teaching confirmation class and she is also a good obedience trainer. Then, there is Jackie who always complains that I gave my dog too small pieces of treat. I came to know her after I have been to club several times. She has the #1 Golden Retriever in Florida. Then, there are pet therapy dogs and K9 companion for independence dogs. They are all great!!!
