Here are 3 of my 5 kittens - up for adoption tomorrow. I just gave each kitten a bath this evening...and survived! LOL!

You foster? I could never give up the fosters - mine would be a "foster failure". It takes great strength to be able to do that.

Well...this is my second foster of 5 this year. It's kitten season and the sanctuary is full of kittens that need homes. Yes, it's hard to give up babies that you've gotten attached to and come running when you call. But... I have to look at as I am giving them a step to in a better life

By loving on them as kittens they become used to being handled, held, petted, snuggled with, and talked to. Then they want it. They become better cats in their new homes.

This group are kittens from a feral mom. When I first brought them home they were so afraid they wouldn't even come out of the carrier . I finally had to take them out and they promptly ran under the bed.

Now I have kittens that come to me and purr when I pet them or pick them up. One still runs from me a little, but not always. I even caught him purring when I held him. LOL...

They are all over the house playing like crazy, (they are a blast to watch!) usually around where ever I am. They sometimes follow me around room to room . Just makes me pick them up and love on 'em that much more

So no, I won't be happy to see them leave, but I will be glad they are going to a loving home and I will be able to give other new kittens love and a good start too.

ps. yes, I want to keep all of them, but my current cats, Cheyenne and Bear, say no! Cheyenne comes from the same Caring Fields Felines 2 years ago. Bear was a feral kitten being fostered that I got as a kitten 14 years ago. Yes, right now I am ...the cat lady! LOL!!
