We signed our contract to have our house built, but my Wife and I could not come to an agreement on the granite choices the builder had. We decided to have the standard counters installed and then replace them with granite after we close.

There are several place that have the actual slabs to choose from. Go spend a day looking for something that strikes you. There are SO MANY to choose from and they are so gorgeous! Bring your dimensions with you so you can get an estimate of price too. They will want to come out and actually measure your specific kitchen when it's done but you can get a head start.
