I hope someone can help me out. My family has commissioned me since I am the "computer whiz" to get some info on their property in Port St Lucie. Back in 1970 my Grandfather bought 2 lots next to each other on Ann Arbor St/Duluth St. They are 125x100 and 125x80. One is a corner lot. They seem to be in a nice neighborhood, although I have never seen them in person. Family issues have forced the sale of these properties and I considered giving ebay's real estate section a try. We had them listed with a local real estate for a year and they did not sell. They were listed for somewhere around 100K each..... This was before the real estate market took a complete dump.... Does anyone have any idea what these lots would go for, together or separately? Thanks so much.

here are a couple of pics.

A realtor would be best able to help you. Keep in mind that everything is for sale in PSL these days. Not much is selling.

Default Much lower!!!

The prices on land are about 75% less then they were at 100K. Sorry!!! I'm closing on a 1/4 acre lot next week @ 22,500. The corners are just a bit more$$$. Upper 20's. At this point, if you don't price it right it will never sell!!! Tooooo many lots out there!!! Good Luck!

I just checked on mapquest to see where these lots are located. If you do the same you will notice they are very close to the turnpike. Having them listed for $100,000 at any time would have been too much. Even at the boom lots for that much were at least on large canals.

You also have to consider that whoever purchases those lots has all the clearing and grading to do as well, or pay whoever builds them a home to do so.

I haven't dealt with lot prices for a couple of years, but with existing new homes that can be purchased at great prices and not having to worry if the builder will still be there in 6 months, I would think that is the way people are going. I can't say I have seen too much new construction going on.
