Here's my post from Craig's List ..... shoot me a note if you're interested ...

My lease is coming due, and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do. If I stay, I would want to get a larger apartment and split the cost with a roommate. If I go, my intent would be to stay within the Biddeford -- South Portland areas.

I'm 55, on disability, identify as lesbian but basically thrive on personalities, no matter what gender. I enjoy people, but I'm not "out there." I stay to myself a lot. I'm a computer geek and enjoy tv. I admittedly don't do much, but when I do something, it's with enthusiasm.

I've been called quirky and eccentric. I have a great personality. I get along with (almost) everyone. I love babies and kittens. I have a old fat, lazy, well-trained cat. I drive and have use of a car, but I don't own one.

I'm a writer by profession ..... an advocate of medicinal 420 (but no longer need or want to use) ..... and an all-around nice gal. I don't care if you are male (gay), female, trans, or otherwise identified in the community. The only ones who have ever had difficulty understanding me are those in the straight community :-)

Intrigued enough to answer? Looking to find a place? Willing to put in the effort to find the "perfect" place? I'm on a fixed income, so I have a limited budget. I don't have any type of voucher situation, but I'm looking for something that would cost me about $500-$600/mo., all utilities included.

If you are interested in looking, meeting, and/or have a place where I'd be the perfect addition to your living situation, please contact me. Lease is out on Nov. 31, but not sure if I still have to give 60 days notice ..... (I'll deal with that).

Also, there ARE 2-bedroom apts. available in the building I'm in ... with heat and hot water, they would be about $725/mo (total), but you'd need an income low enough to qualify for that rate. Otherwise, the total would be higher, in which case you'd pay a larger portion of the rent.

My cat is ok with a tiny dog ... otherwise, neither of us is comfortable around them. Thanks.
