Say that again? Never heard of a bedbug problem, let alone a huge one.

Not to my knowledge.

The St. Francis is a very old building. Hard to know if it is still an issue there.

Keep in mind that a person can bring in bedbugs in their suitcase from a stay in a grand hotel which is why it is smart to leave a suitcase in your car and give your clothing a spin for a 1/2 hour in a dryer on low before bringing them in your home.

Cross country movers transport the stuff of more than one household in the trailer. That carries the risk of cross contamination of insects.

Let me assure you no landlord wants to be known as a place with bugs in this town.

Here is what I found in the first review at that link. See the text in bold. Enough said.

The entire downtown Portland area is infested with bedbugs - as is much of the urban landscape in the U.S.A.

While I don't doubt there are bed bugs in Portland, I have never heard of anyone actually having them. I would take those reviews with a grain of salt as some people like to bad mouth apartments that they had issues with.

Well that's a relief, cause I didn't want to think we might be moving into Bedbug Central, LOL
