I just sent you a truckload of snow. Not because I was feeling generous, but because the pickup was parked outside and the bed filled up with lovely fluffy white snow and my son is driving through Portland on his way to work in Eugene, after scraping a foot or so of snow off the windshield so he could see to drive.

It's the winter storm that just keeps giving.

They work fabulously. AWD+studless (=easy on the road surface) winter tires is a winning combination, where I feel in complete control of the car anywhere but in deep snow. Been doing seasonal switchovers for years now, into the studless in November and out of them in March).

I'd say it's smart to be mobile amid Portland wintry mix when everybody else is smart as well by staying off the roads, and many businesses brave the weather and stay open. A win-win, in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I"ve got FWD+studless winter tires which I put on in November and had no trouble the past few days driving on snow and ice.
