Unfortunately, I don't.
I used to read the initial blurbs of travel guides like LETS GO USA and LONELY PLANET. Sometimes just reading from a traveler's perspective, I'd get a pretty good deal if I'd like the place or not.
On the other hand, when you do that, St. Pete sounds like a cool urban city though!

For myself, I love Oregon, but had been wanting to move out of Eugene to Portland, didn't really know anyone their though. I did know someone here in FL who offered both a position and a place to live, so I took it. Very sorry that I did.
