And I think that is the main reason I have never had a FL city come out in my top 20 results.
There are a few flaws in FIND YOUR SPOT though. Mainly the several questions pertaining to preference in humidity, weather, snow, heat, desert, mountains, rain, etc.

I think it's too heavily focused on those parts, and I wish it was a bit more SOLELY based on the other factors that are more harder to see from a map.

I agree, Find your spot is far from perfect, but it's the best I have found so far. If you know of anything like it that is better, PLEASE let me know, I'd love to try it!

Unfortunately, I don't.

I used to read the initial blurbs of travel guides like LETS GO USA and LONELY PLANET. Sometimes just reading from a traveler's perspective, I'd get a pretty good deal if I'd like the place or not.

On the other hand, when you do that, St. Pete sounds like a cool urban city though!

Trust me, it isn't! That's why you must visit the places you youngsters dream of moving to.

Why do people want to move to where they are moving from?

For myself, I love Oregon, but had been wanting to move out of Eugene to Portland, didn't really know anyone their though. I did know someone here in FL who offered both a position and a place to live, so I took it. Very sorry that I did. Still stuck here still wanting to move to Portland, even a harder prospect now being about as far away as I can get and still be in the USA.
