Well, it IS sort of shocking news, but I'd say all you need to say is "CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy for all of you!" and leave it at that.

Like someone else said, better them than me - but I've already had four kids and raised five. I've done my time!

I'm 51 and I have seven grandkids (and will probably have more since my sons haven't even started their families yet).

I LOVE IT! I have tons of energy to spend with those kids and if the laws of averages play out as expected, I'll be able to build strong relationships with them, and with their kids, before I pass on.

My grandmothers were both young grandmothers when I was born, and I was blessed to be able to spend many active years with them in my life. I am so grateful for that!
