What is this world coming to? I just don't get this?

And I am just as disturbed by the news agency refurring to the BABY as "the fetus" as though it were nothing more than a cancerous growth!

Yeah at seven mos. it's definitely not a fetus anymore, if it were born today it would more than likely live, so I would call that a baby. At least they are considering it attempted murder. It's just sickening to hear these stories.

I think 7months preggo is too late to be pulling these stunts IMO. UI'm not saying its right, but she should have had the common sense of doing it earlier in the pregnancy.

So a hospital abortion is legal & beatings that result in abortions are not legal...WOW!

I agree. This shows the hypocracy in our society.

This whole story is why we need to keep close control over teens.

That right there has a lot to do with the attitude that leads to this kind of thing, or the mother who killed her toddler and half buried him at a playground. Life no longer means anything.

Abortion at seven months isn't legal, though. Like you said, she could have had one earlier.

She made her choice to have sex. You have to accept the consequences of your actions. There isn't a woman in this country and even around the world who doesn't know how babies are made. Women know how not to get pregnant.

Why does "choice" come after the child is conceived instead of before. Why does the child pay for the mother's stupidity?
Why is it "tissue" when you don't want the child and its a baby when you do? I don't know a single woman who gets pregnant intentionally and says "Oh my gosh I'm so excited! I'm growing tissue that will form into a non being that will only become a baby when it takes its first breath! Aren't you happy for me?"

Give me a break.

You choose the action you choose the consequence.

Exactly. The "consequence" is that you can either have a baby, or have an abortion. Your choice.
