I am new to this forum. We are considering relocating and are interested in the f.f. possibilities in the area?
Thanks for your input.

I don't FF myself, but I see a number of people that do when I fish at Goldwater lake.
A guy I met that is just moving here does it all the time in this area.
He tells me he was born/raised in the Verde Valley area. He is now retiring and in the process of moving to Prescot.
I know he loves Oak Creek and many other spots in this area and according to him FF is the only way to go.
I learned the basics many years ago while stationed in Germany with the Army but have not done it since.
Maybe when he gets totally relocated from Tucson I will be able to learn from him.

Just an update, I was up at Goldwater last Monday and I saw on person fly fishing from shore and two others using kick style float tubes on the lake.
I am going to have to get back onto FF myself.

By the way, I have been told that an AZ Peacock Lady is a good fly to use in this state if you fish it. Wet or dry.
