After a Brown Bag burger (if you have the room) there is a great yogurt place next door. They have different flavors in rotation at a couple of stations.

We just gave Brown Bag a try. Never noticed their location before over there.
$20 for two of their small burgers left us quite full.
Good service too.
Reminded me of the burgers my grandmother served in the late 40s and 50s when she ran a restaurant. The only real difference was that she served a heaping oval styled steak plate of fries with them. You had to like the fries to eat them all.
Very old fashioned and themed for the 50-60s types with music and all.
Beats the Red Robin up here anyway, at leas the last two times we were in and have not been back since.

Glad you liked it. It's gotta be the best joint in the most hidden location in town. We discovered it by accident, too..

3 guys, 4 guys, 5 guys, whatever, thanks to the people here mentioning Brown Bag, I had to try them.

Hahahahaha, a medium!!!!

Price might be considered a little steep, but a late lunch probably equals no dinner.

Just FYI:

Brown Bag Burger Started in Yuma, AZ directly across from the Main Gate of the Marine Air Station. Hence the name Brown Bag (Married Marines are referred to as Brown Baggers because they normally bring their lunch as opposed to eating in the Mess Hall.)

They later moved 2 miles east of the Base on Highway 80. This placed them centrally located between the town and the "Foothills" where there is a large population in the winter time (Winter Visitors, Snow Birds, etc.)

Many of the Automobile pictures in BB Burger were taken at "Midnight At The Oasis", which is a car show held in Yuma at the Ball Park each year.

Things have changed I guess. When I was in the service '66-72 they did not pay us enough to eat anywhere but the mess hall very often.
My pay when I arrived here in AZ after training was $100 per month. After taxes, the almost required savings bond, and insurance and such if I remember I got like $66 in pay on the first of the month and that had to last all month.
It wasn't much back then. But I know the pay is better for the the all volunteer service and they earn it.
Anyone that has ever served certainly knows that!

I seem to recall an "almost required" contribution to the Red Cross and the Army Emergency Relief Fund, too.

All I remember is that if you did not take a bond out of your check that in basic training anyway you drilled 7 days a week.
If you had a bond you got Sunday afternoon off.
Combine that with religious services on Sunday morning and you had the whole day off!

It's awfully early in this thread to veer completely off topic. This thread is about Five Guys Burgers coming to Prescott, AZ. Let's get back on track, please.
