Overhyped isnt the word. The word should become:

Tebowed. 1. Undue adulation. 2. The concept of taking one's team's accomplishments and solely making it the resume' of one individual.

Don't think I'm biased due to my username. I'm just a Broncos fan who actually wanted Colt McCoy over Tebow, but how can anyone say he receives undue adulation? Just listen to guys like Merrill Hoge and many others in the media who trash him every chance they get.

Just look at how many fans think he should just play another position already. You don't hear that kind of talk about a horrible QB's like Tavaris Jackson. Look at how horribly Sam Bradford is playing, nobody's trashing him.

Good or bad media coverage, I'm getting so tired of hearing about this guy. There's certain days the talking heads will love the guy with over excessive stories and coverage, then there's certain days the talking heads will hate on him with over excessive stories and coverage. Tebow seems like a really likable guy, I just start to really dislike anyone who the media doesn't shut the hell up about.

At this point Tebow is more widely know because of his "celebrity status" vs. his NFL quarterback prowess.

Prove to me that you have what it takes to be a QB at the NFL level and I will hype you till my face is blue.

Until then you're just a "reality TV star" that's famous for nothing.

Famous for nothing? Being on of the greatest NCAA athletes of all-time is "nothing"?

College athletes don't get paid so it really doesn't count for anything. It's kind of like saying that Tiger Woods was the best amateur ever. It means nothing and NCAA is another way of saying amateur. You are considered a pro when you make the NFL, and as an NFL player Tebow hasn't shown much as of yet. So yes, it means nothing! Tony "The Terminator" Mandarich was also a great college guy. So was Ryan Leaf!

I like Tebow for the basics...he LOVES to play the sport-it's refreshing-he's not an a$$hole-cough cough...Tom Brady-he wants to do well-good lord give the guy a break, he may not be the best but he has the most heart-I love Aaron Rogers too because he seems to be the same-
Hopefully he will get better-I'm a die hard Broncos fan and I hope he sparks something in our crappy team

Nope. Tebow's popularity is based upon his days as a Gator. Not getting paid for being a Gator means nothing.
