He's not going to be moved to TE! Just because someone is athletic doesn't mean they can play any position. Tom Brady to Right Tackle!
How could Tebow play TE any better than some person who has been playing the position for several years? Has anybody actually seen if he can catch the ball? Run routes?
Besides he's too short. He's 6'2. Gronk is 6'6, Witten 6'6, Graham 6'7. Get the picture? Tight ends are tall & he is not.

He'll be used as a QB with a run option.

The positions in baseball are more easily interchangeable than they are in football. You can move outfielders into the infield, and shuffle fielders with subpar throwing and athletic skills to first base (hello Todd Helton). Asking a QB to simply fit into place as a tight end, though, is like asking the bat boy to step in as a starting pitcher.
Going from QB to TE would be a huge transition. Tebow's gonna have to pick up run blocking, pass protection, running routes, and catching balls reliably in order to be taken seriously as a TE. He also has to train himself on how to take a hit in the open field when he's not expecting it because he's looking for the ball.
