Yeah, the blame game and speculation is getting old. Im just waiting for the news conference tonight after griffin meets with the specialist in Florida this afternoon.

Do you ever visit "extremeskins?" There is a "how is rg3's knee" thread thats up to 130 pages lol

10 cents? Come on man! You are being way too generous! I'd say more like 10 Rials.... Or 10 Liras...

I'm familiar with that site. Snyder owns it. I'm a Skins fan but do not like Snyder in the slightest nor do I like his butt kissing site.

Not quite accurate. Cutler went to Vanderbilt where they actually care about academics more than athletics. YOu can call him a lot of things but 10 cent brain is NOT one of them!

Book smarts and football smarts are two very different things. When it comes to making decisions on the field, Jay's not the brightest crayon in the box.

It was a no win situation for Shanahan. If he pulled him and they lost, he would get torched... if he left him in and he got hurt... well, he is getting torched. That is why he gets paid the big bucks to make the big tough decisions! I felt like he should have been pulled after half time. It was obvious his knee was keeping him from being productive... Looking back, I think that Cousins would have given the Skins at least 10 second half points and that might have won the game but hindsight is 20/20 and coaches get 2nd guessed all season long...

The injury was simply a final nail in the coffin so to speak. I think RGIII will be back under center by opening day next fall and all will be forgotten... finger crossed or my redskin buddies!

I think Jay's problem is not so much smarts but apathy. He does not have a burning desire to be the best. I think he is content with where he is now and doesn't work and study and prepare to take the next step. Probably lazy is a better way of putting it..

The other issue Skin fans should ask is what gives with the crappy field? I can not recall our field looking that bad ever. Could this field have caused or aggravated injuries? Snyder's butt boy Larry Michael stated on his show last week that the field is a mess and that we like it that way and will give the Skins home field advantage because they know where all the bad spots in the field are----he did say this.

RG3 should blame himself.

He has been hurt for about 3-4 weeks, he kept trying to play and obviously the knee was affecting him. He needs to know when to be "tough," and when to be smart.

Am I the only one who thinks that putting Cousins in was no guarantee? Cousins could have easily thrown a pick-6 which would guide Washington to a loss anyway. Playing a hot Seahawks team in the playoffs is much different than beating Baltimore or Cleveland.

I would say both RG3 and Shanahan made mistakes here and the end result was unfortunate.
