Acer you need to give up the silly names, this is a grown ups site, in case you didn't notice.
I think the Seahawks will be ready for this game. Teams have held AP to under 100 yards this year, usually when that happens Vikings lose. I picked the Seahawks but could go either way.
The Seahawks did not win the game. The Vikings lost the game!!
Not sure if you're serious, and the Seahawks certainly didn't cause the potential game winner to miss, but they did force the issue to come to a kick to win it. So taken in the whole, the Seahawks absolutely did win the game. It was more than just the missed kick at the end.
Seahawks are always tough especially in the playoffs, totally different situation. How fans look at it, really doesn't matter! Seahawks are in the playoffs the win goes in their column.
The Seahawks did not win the game. The Vikings lost the game!!
But..but in the newspaper and on the internet tomorrow it will still say the Seahawks won not that the Vikings lost.
The only thing that counts is the final score no matter how or why it happen that way. Vikings stay at home and Seattle goes on to a warmer Carolina.
For them to win 3 things went horribly wrong for the Vikings.
1. The bad snap that went over the head of Wilson should've been a loss of 15 yds instead went for a long completion and a TD.
2. AD fumbling which gave them the go ahead FG.
3. The horribly shanked 27 yarder for the win.
Pete Carroll is the luckiest SOB ever cause they were about to crucify him in Seattle again.
Regarding #1: That bad snap and ensuing play is a big part of why the Seahawks won. A lot of QBs would just cover up the ball and avoid the turnover, ending the play. Wilson got back on his feat and made a play. That's a good example of the Seahawks outplaying the Vikings.
Regarding #2: The ball was stripped. That's an example of the Seahawks outplaying the Vikings.
Regarding #3: Pure luck for the Seahawks.
I'm no Seahawks apologist, but come on, let's give some credit where it's due!
