Per the Detroit game, the Chargers have a weak defense and why I took Green Bay +3.5 on a 28 person office like season pool. Denver is the only team with a worst defense than LAC as far as yards allowed.
Some notes from yesterday.
Thank you Denver for missing the 2 point conversion as I was sitting there about to cry with MN + 2.5.
Houston's QB is very talented but when you are up by 5 (and in playoff contention) and you get into short FG position, do everything but throw a pick. A sack would be better.
And if you do make such a dumb mistake don't do it again. Well Stroud did do it again and sitting there with Houston 4.5 I had to sweat out multiple 4th quarter AZ possessions all in Houston territory.
AZ went on 4th and 3 and failed.
AZ went on 4th and 4 and failed.
AZ went on 4th and 8 and failed.
I am not trying to downplay the game against Miami by any means. It was a historically poor performance. However, I'm kinda curious to know how Denvers defense would be ranked if we exclude that game from the stats. In other words, I wanna determine if Miami's poor performance was just a fluke or are they genuinely the most consistently worse defense in allowing yards.
San Diego looks to be consistently on average a worse defense than Denver.
This isn't an attack on you anyway either, apologize if it came across as such. My gripe is with how the NFL has such basic stat metrics compared to the MLB and now NBA.

Best of course is Cleveland #1
Denver and Chargers at the bottom.
Denver is 5-5 so easy math maybe using 10 games. Their total yards yielded is 4001. Excluding the Miami game where they gave up 726 yards subtract that from 4001 = 3275 for 9 games or an average of 364 yards per game.
On the current 10 game stats it would put Denver between Tampa (360.7) and Pittsburgh (367.0). Note though that on that list NYG and Washington have 11 games for their yards allowed per game. Also Seattle and AZ have played 11.

Reason: Merged 2:1
Going into tonight's game, the Eagles only gave up an average of 66 yards rushing per game.
Tonight the Chiefs ran for 168 yards.
Lots of symmetry in the game.
- Both teams had opening drive TDs in SuperBowl 57.
- Both teams went 3 and out on opening drives tonight.
- Both teams scored a TD on the 2nd drives.
- Both teams third drives ended with an interception.
On to Thursday's games.
