Penalties kill ANY good team. But like I said, they have time to fix it. I'm sure they will.

I don't get too worried about preseason.

I am not too comfortable with Dave Campo coming back. I know he is just doing secondary coaching but somehow I started seeing some resemblence in the style of defense of those Campo days.

It's kind of hard to tell about the defense in preseason, especially one that will use the blitz and shuffle players around a lot because they won't show much. I will say I'm sick of seeing the cornerbacks playing so far off their receiver.

Campo was a decent position coach/coordinator so I'm not terribly worried. I'm more concerned about the special teams play at this point although it improved in the 2nd preseason game.

Silly Pats fans. 33% of them didn't know Massachusetts had a team until 1994 or so and another 33% think NFL history didn't begin until 2001. The other 34% actually remember the 30 or so years of mostly mediocrity before then.

I think the Cowboys got a steal with Felix Jones!

Romo and starters looked pretty good (if you take away the interception). Brad Johnson looked pretty good too.

This week's results: Cowboys BEAT the Browns 28-10

2008 Record: (1-0)

And the quest for ring #6 begins.......

I hate that I missed the game, but they won and that's most important.

They looked really strong, picking apart the Brown's secondary as well as running the ball very effectively. They must repect the Eagles next Monday night, though.
