I'd take Mario Williams over Vjsx personally, but will be SO pleased if we get either one. But can you imagine Peppers and Williams opposite of each other? WOW!

that would be great...it will be interesting because the draft is deep in wr and D line...someone good will be there when the bears pick 19th...

rumour has it the bears are the front runner for mario williams...the cowboys and skins get cap penality a good thing for those who want jackson...lets hope manning takes another day to make his decision, this way it will screw things up for teams interested in him and trying to bid in the 1st round of free agency...go bears... [williams-colston would be sweet]

Default Brandon Marshall

Brandon Marshall for two 3rd round draft picks. Yes that was a steal!

I'm a little surprised by this transaction, but maybe I shouldn't be. At least he didn't have a bunch of issues last year with his employer or the law that has dogged him throughout his career.

At Miami he put up good numbers on the field, catching 86 and 81 balls respectively the last couple seasons. But it's the 2007 and 2008 seasons where he hit his stride.

104 receptions for 1265 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2007.
102 receptions for 1325 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2008.

His relationship with Jay Cutler was always good. Let's see where he is at off the field. On the field, Chicago has just made a statement. A big one.

I'm psyched about this. I think when the bears win a ring next year we should send josh mcdaniels one... :-)

All kidding aside seems like a reasonable, if not bargin,of a price for Marshall.
