That was not a catch. Throw the red flag for the Vikings.
The Saints kicker can't kick beyond 45 yards because he's never needed. This is an exciting game, huh?
Even though calls on this particular drive seem to be for the home team, the game NEVER should have went this far. The Vikes lost it on the INT at the end of regulation.
WHAT A GAME!! In the immortal words of Jack Buck while a one legged Kirk Gibson is rounding the bases after homering off Dennis Eckersley in game one of the 1988 series----
I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!!!!
What a game and congrats to the New Orleans Saints!!
The whole game I kept thinking "Favre is going to be vintage Favre somehow this game, either good Favre or dumb Favre".
Favre just made a bad move that probably cost the Vikings the game. Their turnovers didn't help either. I'm happy for the Saints and Drew Brees. I'm torn between the Colts and the Saints now.
Persoanlly I think it was the side line error in putting 12 men on the field and into that huddle. Otherwsie they could have tried a field goal without the 5 yard penalty. But that is football. Great game by Farve and the vikings tho;he took some major hits.
Congratulations Saints fans!!!!!!!!!! You must be so proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!
