If you have a small family, and are on any kind of a budget, the Amana ABB2222FEW may be the perfect fridge for you. It's available at a great price, and is perfect if you are in the market for an energy efficient model. The Amana ABB2222FEW is a medium sized refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. It's also available at quite the reasonable price. It is also quite energy efficient, which ends up saving you even more money in the long run. It has a fairly low carbon footprint, and is a greta option for small spaces or apartments, where you may not have the luxury of space.
The Amana ABB2222FEW has a fantastic fresh food compartment, as well as a freezer that slides right open like a drawer. It has nearly 22 feet of storage space, with 16 feet of that space belonging to the fresh foods part of the space. It also does not use too much electricity, and will probably cost you just under $50 a year to operate.
The inside of the Amana ABB2222FEW isn't too well designed, and rather simple and minimal. It isn't particularly sophisticated, which you can somewhat expect from it's price point, but is somewhat disappointing nonetheless. It has four adjustable gallon sized door bins, as well as a bottom shelf that can hold another additional gallon. There is also a clear, dairy compartment with all kinds of adjustable shelves. There is also a fixed glass shelf located right about the crispers, which are clear and completely humidity controlled. There are also two removable baskets. You can also add on an ice maker for another $100, if this important to you.
Overall, the Amana ABB2222FEW is a great model that clearly values function over style, but is fantastic nonetheless.
