The Zenith model number ZW5010 5,000 BTU window air conditioner is an excellent device for cooling a smaller sized room during the hottest months. The unit is compact, approximately 11 1/8" high by 17 5/16" inches wide by 12 13/16" deep, and it weighs 40 pounds. The smaller size of this unit makes it relatively easy to install and store, an important factor to keep in mind when choosing an air conditioner. Another great feature about this compact device is that it comes with a window installation kit, for even greater ease of getting the cool room you desire.
However, the compact size and ease of installation aren't the only positive feature of this Zenith window air conditioning unit, of course. This air conditioner also has an adjustable thermostat so you can customize it to your desired cooling level, as well as a turbo fan and a 2-way air deflection system. This understandably causes the unit to make some amount of noise, yet not so much that should prove to be too problematic. With all of the excellent features of this air conditioning unit in mind, you can get a well-circulated, cool room in the warmest months of the year to relax in rather easily.
Even though the thermostat goes up to level 9, the higher levels are most often unneccessary, as this air conditioner has a lot of power for such a compact unit. Although, this Zenith air conditioning unit may prove to be a bit noisier than some other units, but with all of the adjustability features for air flow and circulation, you will easily find that this air conditioner retailing as low as $99.96 is a great buy for the summertime. This air conditioner is easily one of the best buys in this price range, as it performance and functions certainly outdo the low price tag of this very useful product.
