Extreme Series 16 Foot XT Trampoline

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

My kids had wanted a trampoline for the back yard and so I decided to purchase the Extreme series 13 foot model with a safety net. I purchased the trampoline online for $1600.00. When I got home with the trampoline I began to set it up by following the directions, which were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. The Extreme Series XT came with a total of 84 separate springs was made of rust free galvanized steel, which is great because it rains a lot where I live. This treadmill is much more than those found at toy stores because it is gymnastics quality and made for gymnasts to practice their skills.

The mat was a black mesh and apparently UV protected to guard against fading. The mesh made it so slipping would be at a minimum. The base of the trampoline consisted of putting together several pieces of piping that configured into a u-shape. The base included six of these u-shaped legs that held the trampoline up. The springs were covered with a vinyl coated safety pad that would protect the kids from getting pinched by the trampoline.

Upon setting it up the kids were excited to use it and jumped for several hours the first day. The trampoline has held up through two years of heavy duty wear and tear by multiple kids. The 16 foot is large enough for 3-4 kids, but too small for larger groups, which isn't safe anyway.

The trampoline has been uncovered in the back yard and has not shown any signs of weather damage at all. This is a great toy for kids and adults who want to have a great time jumping around. The safety has held up fine other than one small tear and has saved more than one child from falling to the ground. Extreme Series XT 16 foot round trampoline is safe, fun, and a good trampoline for the money.
