My favorite is a common husband/wife situation...

The husband comes home, says Hi, but the wife gives him a dirty look and says nothing.

The husband asks if something is wrong?

The wife finally says YES!

The husband asks what is wrong?

The wife says, "You know what you did!"

Now the husband has a real dilemma, because he knows he has done several things wrong, but does not know WHICH thing he did wrong that she learned about! So he does not want to admit anything...

The secret to managing your anger dalebx is to not allow yourself to go there(sometimes it's better to just walk away)...it takes two to tango, the "argument" could not happen otherwise..and you gotta ask yourself , was it worth it?..after awhile the anger never happens because you realize it gets you nothing positive, and it's a waste of valuable time.

Sometimes people harbor unresolved issues, resentment. Some are unforgiving, traumatized, angry at self, not you, etc...

In general, society is uncomfortable with anger. The majority of people are raised to hide their anger or not express it, so it goes inward where it becomes health problems, depression, chronic irritability, etc. People are especially afraid to show their anger at loved ones or other people they're close to, so they carry it around inside until it comes out often through a completely unrelated or miniscule trigger.

You beat someone up over nothing? Disgraceful. You need to find an outlet for the crap you hold inside ASAP!
